As a consortium partner with University Media, Ideas and People leads communication efforts for the Gates Foundation’s Enhancing External Communication and Voice project. This initiative focuses on amplifying the Foundation’s visibility in key areas—Health, Nutrition, Agriculture, and Digital Innovation—across the deep engagement states. Our team employs strategic communication assets and tactics to enhance stakeholder engagement and elevate the Foundation’s global and regional impact.

Ideas and People collaborated with key Lagos State agencies to develop strategic communication plans for the Lagos Urban WASH Project. These plans integrated brand communication, media engagement, and two-way communication approaches to enhance citizen engagement, build public trust, and improve revenue generation for utility services.

Ideas and People served as the lead consultant for the Niger State Strategic Planning Commission, guiding the development of the state’s 4-year Development Plan and Medium-Term Sector Strategies through extensive stakeholder collaboration. We developed and executed a comprehensive Advocacy Communications campaign for IHVN’s Stillbirths Awareness campaign, targeting policymakers, media, and the public through targeted campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and public awareness efforts. Our work has driven policy influence and mobilized resources to address stillbirth prevention and maternal health challenges.

Ideas and People provided high-level strategic communications and policy support to ICPC’s National Ethics and Integrity Policy plan. We spearheaded the development of a comprehensive communication strategy, aligning it with modern practices to enhance the Commission’s outreach and engagement. A flagship initiative under this partnership was the launch of EthicsPod, Nigeria’s first anti-corruption podcast, designed to engage youth in the fight against corruption and foster greater public awareness.
